This unique walkway is a thoughtfully-designed element of The National Civil War Museum's memorial-like grounds.
The ribbon of red brick, which is symbolic of the blood shed in war, bears the names of Civil War veterans honored by their surviving descendants. These memorial bricks are placed in recognition of soldiers' service and sacrifices during the American Civil War.
Bricks may be purchased for
$75 each. Bricks will be placed within the state-by-state arrangement that forms the unique Walk of Valor, with its commanding view of the Susquehanna River.
